Rarity of color and source of the stone determines which level each granite color will be placed in. Granite is divided into four pricing levels; level 1, 2, 3, and above.
Granite is not only desired because of its beauty but, also because it is an extremely hard material that will not blister or scratch. Unlike man made products that may yellow with contact of hot temperatures, granite can withstand hot items in your kitchen and bathrooms. Each granite counter top will be sealed at installation with a silicone-based sealant that will help your granite surface be stain resistant. All granite surfaces need to be sealed yearly and is very simple to do. A granite sealant can be purchased at any local hardware store and applied to the granite with a cloth and wiped clean.
